On the edge of the 'Golden Valley' lies New Barns Farm a working farm set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside. Tucked up a very quite farm drive just 1 mile from the B4348, 14 miles from Hay-on-Wye and 8 miles from Hereford. Guests are welcome to relax in the garden or wander the fields and woods and enjoy are working farm season to season. We grow a variety of cereals,including oilseed rape, a wonderful bright yellow flower in early spring, brillant after the dark damp winter days, wheat and oats are also grown. We have a flock of breeding ewes which lamb in March and April. Free range chickens can often be spotted roaming the farm with Bob and Hollie our working collies trying their best to keep them under

 control.Great news we have finally managed to purchase three donkeys, this comes after searching for over five years ( after the death of our old donkey called Nelson who had lived with us for nearly forty years ) Jacob, Millie & Pimms.
